The caster or character touched becomes resistant to fire and heat based attacks for a number of rounds equal to the caster's Power Modifier.

While this spell is in effect, the character will resist a number of points of damage from Fire/Heat based attacks equal to the character's Spell Rank with this spell.

If the environment is hot enough to cause damage, then this damage will be modified by the fire resistance as well.

Remember, Mage Gift or equivalent abilities modifier the character's Power Rating and Spell Rank.
